whatever happened to Auri Allen (aka Baby Shaq)?

the kid was like 6'8 and 300 lbs at 12 years old. he was featured on ripley's believe it or not back in 2002 or 2003 where he played with shaq 1 on 1. he's gotta be out of high school by now. where the heck did he go? did he give up on basketball?

A quick Google search suggests nothing of note has been happening with him for the past few years, from a basketball standpoint at any rate. This post provides a few answers.

wow, that is really too bad that a car accident derailed him. maybe he should try p90x or insanity, get back into shape and take another run at playing ball.
