Definitely good news I think. I was pretty much resigned to seeing him leave, but I guess he resolved his issues with the Nuggets.

Good signing. But Denver as team still imploded. Denver I don't think will continue the winning pace of post-Melo trade.

Glad to see Denver retain its best player. They're a likable team with some real quality guys. While they don't have a big name star, they have a lot of young, productive players with reasonable salaries and a seemingly good front office. The trade with Dallas today gives them cheap depth. If they can re-sign Afflalo, they're a playoff team.

Denver has a pretty deep team but imho they are missing that one guy who can score on the drive as well as shoot the ball. There's no hierarchy on offense which makes it tough to decided who's going to score in the fourth. This could work if they had a real playmaker, but I doubt that Lawson is a good playmaker and Andre Miller seems too old.
I also think that the contract for Nene will kill them in two or three years. He has a poor injury history and when he will be like 32 or 33 I doubt that he can be as productive as now.

Definitely good news for Denver and bad news for anyone hoping to pick up a quality big in this abbreviated offseason. Shame about a few of their key players ending up in China though, with no return possible until March.

Andre Miller has been playing like an old man for years, it won't affect his game if he does get old.
He's like one of those old guys you see on the gym or the court who has a bag of tricks that makes you go 'wtf' in surprise. Same with Paul Pierce.

Andre Miller was arguably the second best player on the Blazers last year, and his style of play makes me doubt he's declined too much. He's an excellent playmaker (throws more alley-oops than anybody), and he'll be fine playing backup minutes. Ty Lawson in his second NBA season was just as good.

Arron Afflalo is back for 5 as well now. The Nuggets now have an interesting core to build around.

Don't forget Chandler being re-signed in March
