Camby arrested for marijuana possession

Camby was in a Porsche pulled over Monday for what police called an equipment violation. Pearland police Lt. Onesimo Lopez says an officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and they found less than two ounces of the drug inside.

Camby and another person inside, Kendal Johnson, were arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone because the arrest occurred near a school. Both were released on individual $2,000 bonds.

This is good for the team. We've been built around straight edged guys with squeaky voices and squeaky knees for long enough - I'm glad the Jailblazers are back and wreaking havoc in the league.

It would be a fair guess that a lot of NBA players smoke marijuana. We're only talking about it because he got caught. If he pulls a Damon Stoudemire and tries to sneak it on to a plane in tinfoil, then we'll talk.

I think it should be too although now it wouldn't do me much good because my pot smoking days are over.
