Yeah, that was one hell of a team, they even gave the Unstoppa-Bulls of the mid-90s a tough time in the Eastern Conference Finals back in '98.

I thought the roster was this:

C-Rik Smits
PF-Dale Davis
SF-Antoino Davis
SG-Reggie Miller
PG-Jalen Rose

.... oh ya i guess even though rose could play point he didnt.... oh and antoino davis was on the bench too.

That was the roster in 1998, in 2000 Antonio was with the Raptors and Dale Davis took over at the PF position.

Wow, how wrong you are. If you recall, Toronto traded their 12th overall pick in the 1998 NBA Draft (F- Jonathan Bender) to The Pacers for F/C- Antonio Davis.

Tell it to NBA.com:

Pacers 1998-1999 rosters.

Pacers 1999-2000 rosters.

So as you can see, I was just stating what was written there.

Larry Legend's last season as head coach of the Pacers was 1999/2000, the year they made the Finals. And when he stepped down as coach, NBA.com found it necessary to use the headline "Bird flies coop".

But pg Mark Jackson played in Indiana 1999-2000 season
and did it pretty well with 8.1 pts 8 ass 3.7 reb and was a real dominating factor in the finals.

I wouldnt say he was dominating. He had that incredible half court hook in game 6, and he did post up kobe a few times, and he played well in game 1...
