Unanimous pick Griffin leads T-Mobile All-Rookie team rosterAll-Rookie First Team: Blake Griffin, John Wall, Landry Fields, DeMarcus Cousins, Gary Neal
All-Rookie Second Team: Greg Monroe, Wesley Johnson, Eric Bledsoe, Derrick Favors, Paul George
Not too many surprises there, fair selections all around in my opinion.

I would've put Monroe in first team ahead of Neal, that's the only change that should've been made

I agree Monroe should have been on the team, but it should have been over Cousins. Neal is awesome.

Some rookies with attitude this season with Cousins and Wall. I just hope they won't be the star players who jeopardise teamwork for their stats.

Wall has a bad attitude?

I'd agree as far as Cousins is concerned but attitude aside he's not a terrible player, he could have a good career in the NBA but he's got a little growing up to do.

This.
I'd like to know what ZanShadow has to pull out of his ass as to why he thinks that way about Wall.

I could care less about Cousins's "attitude problems". The fact that he's a 43% field goal shooter as a high usage center on the other hand...
Fri May 13, 2011 4:32 pm
...is a troubling statistic but doesn't make him an awful player devoid of talent and further potential (and there's where attitude and work ethic comes in). He's got some good tools, but he needs to grow up and smarten up to use them more effectively.

Errr....Ed Davis perhaps should have made it. No I'm not aware of any advanced stats that may work against him but I'm just throwing his name out there. Not bad at 7ppg, 7rpg, 1bpg, and 13 double-doubles.

Absolutely. He's shown flashes this year and I still think he's the most intriguing prospect from the 2010 draft. The entire season was awful with Tyreke missing a ton of games and playing poorly, the relocation scare, etc. and I think with a year under his belt, he'd be a decent pick for most improved player next year.

Certainly not as problemetic as Cousin's but he isn't no Nash or Grant Hill type either. He was known to have an attitude issue back in the past as Wall was cut from the Broughton basketball team for attitude-related issue. Also the punch thrown to veteran from a rookie against Heat type of team doesn't help the issue here. In the interview after the punch, I thought he sounded like another young punk player with high degrees of cockiness. But then good that he's got confidence...

High school? Seriously? I know he's only 2 years removed from high school but seriously?

You never had attitude problems as a teenager? If your answer is no, never mind my question.

The truth came out eventually.

yay for Fields, not too sure with Neal, but either Wes and Monroe should at least be at first. still good though
Fri May 13, 2011 10:54 pm
No arguments with the teams, Neal should be on the first team, as he was solid all year, Monroe bloomed late in the season.
Fri May 13, 2011 10:57 pm
cousins should not have even come close to making it.

Don't get how Ed Davis has better stats than Derrick favors and still not make it, I guess they want to get him out of canada asap. Only thing I can think of that favors has on Ed is draft position

How so? His field goal percentage aside, his numbers were fairly solid across the board amongst rookies.
