My favorite series. This is the match-up I wanted, and provided the Lakers don't do an epic choke job, that's what we're getting. The Mavs seem to be easily the worst of the four top seeds in the West. They are nonetheless a good team and as much as I'd like to pick Portland here, I don't see it. Dallas in 7.

Looks like we might need to get rid of this thread and one of the others. Fuuuuuuck

EDIT. It is your friend.

Oh shit. Overtime.

Portland in 6.

Seriously I don't want to talk about it because it's going to be another pile of dog turd choke.

Blazers in 6

Dallas in 6, only go to on and be swept by the Lakers.

I prefer the alternative where they lose and everyone goes fishing and then chokes on the fish they catch while Dirk sits nonplussed at their deaths and chugs down beer.

I think it's a good matchup for the Mavs. Although we went 1-2 in the regular season against the Blazers, I don't think they will beat us.
Dirk doesn't have problems vs Portland. Andre Miller is the perfect matchup for Jason Kidd. Brandon Roy isn't the old.
So the only tough task will be the L-Train and how to defend him. But I think he could get pretty much banged up down low with Chandler and Haywood.
In the end it's always the same: If the Mavs' role players are able to bring their game, Dallas is tough to beat. If Chandler, Stojakovic and especially Terry choke, it's over.

I voted Dallas in 6 but remembering that a Game 6 would be played in Portland, seven might actually be more likely. In any case I expect Dallas will move on and will stick with my pick of six games.

And RC deciding to have the 3-guard lineup in the 4th instead of Roddy B.

Blazers in 7.
I'm torn, Blazers are awesome, but I just want the Mavs to win finally.

Mavs in 6. Hate the Blazers.

Portland in 7 with LMA killing everyone in sight

Mavs in 5. Alhtough I'd like to see Portland against the Lake Show. The Lakers have struggled against the Blazers, would love to see them knocked out. But I think Dallas can also win a series against LA.

Surprised the Blazers have a slight lead in the poll. They were my extreme homer pick to make the WCF last year (rofl I know), and it would be ironic if the year I didn't pick them, they made the second round. Hope I'm wrong though.

Possibly one of the best matchups.
With a healthy Roy the blazers would win in 7
As we all know Roy is not healthy. Thus Mavericks in 7

Was surprised myself when you pick the Mavericks since you consider them mediocre at best.

Despite that Roy wasn't healthy most of the season, the Blazers were surprisingly good. Props to Lamarcus for stepping up to be one of the better PF.
I think the Blazers have good chance against the Mavericks. Even though Tyson Chandler has toughen up the Mavericks, I have a funny feeling that the Mavericks will choke.
Blazers in 7.

That was before Tyson Chandler decided to be a top 3 Center.

I think Dallas in 7. I don't think Dirk will be stopped, and like hova said, Chandler can take on LMA down low.
I'd like to see Andre Miller own Barea and Roddy B on the low post.

This is what I wanted the WCF to be...

I really want Portland to do well, but as a big Mavs fan, gotta go with Dallas in 7.
