2011 Playoffs: (1) Spurs Vs. (8) Grizzlies

The Grizzlies are down 25 at the moment and are obviously tanking for this match-up. There's no secret why. The Spurs are the third best team in the West, and the Grizzlies pose match-up nightmares for them. With Rudy Gay (as marginal as he is) out and the Grizzlies simply not being as good, I can't in good conscience pick them to win this. However, I expect them to get their first 2 franchise playoff wins as they lose to San Antonio in 6.

Spurs in 5 due to Z-Bo leading to a one game Grizz win.

Spurs in five. Tempted to pick them in six but I think they'll be in top form despite ending the season with a bit of a whimper, taking the first two in San Antonio before dropping Game 3 in Memphis then finishing them off with two straight.

I love the Griz, but they have no chance.....sweep 'em up.....sorry TA

I hate the Spurs, so I'd pick Griz in 7.

I'm gonna say Spurs in 6 because of this Manu elbow injury. Hopefully he can come back soon.

Great game. Thought Memphis pulled an Indiana with the choke job, but then they came through at the end. When Manu comes back, this series will likely turn around, but it should go the distance.

Congrats to the Grizz on picking up their first playoff win, leaving the Bobcats as the only team without a postseason victory. I'm not about to count out the Spurs, what with Ginobili's return up their sleeve, but looks like this one's going to be more competitive than I gave it credit for.

I'm still with Spurs in 6, Manu comes back next game.
