Cool Plays/Dunks from last season

Sat Aug 09, 2003 11:12 am

Are there any Plays/Dunks that you think were real decent or cool...post them here:

I like two...remember when Kobe showed Yao that if you play him you get "posterrised"??? You know the dunk on Yao from side-on...

Oh yeah...what bout that Yao-Mobley play where the ball went over Yao's head and Mobley made a reverse lay-up?? That was cool...it was then when heaps of ppl saw Yao's true passing skill!!

That's Moochie Norris

Anyway, that Amare slamer over Kandi Man was really sick

Vince over Duncan,D-Mas over Lenard,Ricky D over Nash...Ricky D...slashes to the lane and gets a pass jumped and just avoid Big Ben's block and slams it home....Ricky D over Antonio Davis...Pierce over Joe Smith...Kobe over Yao,Finley over Yao,Stoudmire over Horce Grant,Stoudmire overpower Olowakandi...

kobe's reverse windmill at MSG, that was sick, and again against timberwolves

ricky davis over nash on the break, that was crazy

I can't remember who this was against but when shaq did a reverse lay-up like the way kobe and them do it, is was classic...

Ricky Davis on Okur was nice!

Amare on Skinner
Iverson crosses Brent B. with headfake and floater on 3 people!
Kobe oop from Shaq against Denver
Ricky D on a Raptor, then walks like a fag down the court!

These plays are great too me!

I'm just wondering does anyone know where I can find a clip of Ricky Davis's betweeen the legs.

Sun Aug 10, 2003 12:14 pm

nope i can't think of a place

When brent barry threw a alley-oop to desmond mason and mason turned and threw it down backwards. That was sweeeeeet.

Sun Aug 10, 2003 12:48 pm

Is it me or does everyone dunk on Rasho

I've seen heaps of dunks and a lot of them have Nestorovic being dunked on! (Maybe that's a bit exagerated but 2 out of 10 have Rasho!)

Sun Aug 10, 2003 4:27 pm

that was against the clippers.. pretty sure it was anyways...

as far as my favourite dunks/plays goes..
jordan over marion at the all star game :)
jordan deflecting a shaq pass and coasting in for a jam
jordan stealing an inbounds off brent barry and laying it in + 1
jordan on travis best :P
kobe on yao
kobe behind-the-back against denver
kobe taunting the jazz after nailing a half court shot
kobe on sprewell
kobe on garnett
finley on yao
kobe blowing past pierce for a reverse
ricky davis on nash [ FUCKING SICK ]
ricky davis on big ben
stevie franchise on pollard
vc on duncan
amare on kandi man
desmond mason on voshon lenard
t-mac on okur
t-mac off the backboard

i'm sure there are others too but i cant think of anymore right now :)

Sun Aug 10, 2003 8:51 pm

cool play was martin behind the back pass to kittles and ball bounced from he´s knee to jefferson and jeff slammed it home.
dunk of year-kenyon martin sick putback against knicks.

Sun Aug 10, 2003 9:13 pm

ricky davis over nash ,that was sick .

Sun Aug 10, 2003 10:07 pm

Any of Kidd to KMart (wants some $$$'s) alley-oops including the one against the C's in the playoffs. And also the posterization by Shandon over Chris Mihm (serves up a facial).

Tue Aug 12, 2003 12:42 am

Chris Webber passing the ball to an unsuspecting Scot Pollard...the ball bounced off Pollard's head and into the basket for 2...

And Kobe's up and under super-dunk against the T-Wolves was just insane...

Tue Aug 12, 2003 2:52 am

arenas steals the ball, bounces the ball off the ground for an alley oop dunk to jason richardson.

i think whats makes this play even more amazing was that arenas/richardson don't even make eye contact before the play and you didn't expect this play to happen or for these two guys to even try such a play.
