Wow.T'Wolves are desperate for attendance in their arena?

I'd buy four & then throw them in the charity bin out the front of the supermarket after collecting my free tickets

It's a surprise that they're THAT desperate to do that kind of offer!

Agreed. A good dead and some cheap NBA tickets for a night out.

End of season's near, so why do that?
Sat Apr 02, 2011 12:20 am
To rid themselves of all the unsold excess tickets for the upcoming games?
Sat Apr 02, 2011 2:24 am
Do they have a surplus of tickets? It's kinda weird, IMO.
Sat Apr 02, 2011 4:59 am
Why is it weird? If people don't buy tickets, then there are unsold tickets.
Considering the Wolves' record it's no surprise, much less weird, that not all of their tickets are sold.
Sat Apr 02, 2011 5:03 am
the clippers have been known in years past to give tickets away for free
Sat Apr 02, 2011 5:53 am
Think about it this way folks. Even if the tickets are free and the team is technically "losing money" by not selling that ticket: whats the likelihood someone is going to pay for parking, food, beer, soda, merch etc with free tickets? Its a way to make a little extra cash off something that if they dont give away they make 0 dollars on. The empty seat is there, why not try to put an ass in it and gouge them?
You kids and your lack of understanding whats a pretty common practice.
