Retiring players of 2002-2003 season

Postby Full Surface on Fri Aug 08, 2003 11:30 pm

Can anyone give me some more players to add to list? I'm trying to get rid of all the players who have retired in my NBA Live 2003. I don't feel like downloading a new roster patch because I made my own roster perfectly the way I wanted it and I don't want something to get fucked up.

Michael Jordan
John Stockton
David Robinson
Steve Kerr

Code: Select all
[jasonkiddmode] John Stockton is very good [jasonkiddmode]

I think Danny Ferry might be done... not that he'll make much difference to your game.

Danny Ferry was traded to the Pacers, if he was going to retire, he would have done it before the trade.

Refuze, get rid of every legend in that case, . All of them are retired.

Please, how can i take off a player from my rosters. I made my own rosters and need this tip.

*Charles Oakley - 40 years old and 18 in NBA. Just 1.8ppg in last season.
He is a Free Agent. Who wants him?

Thanks

who wants charles oakley? a team that needs a good defensive veteran who is old school and will do almost anything to prevent a basket. and 1.8ppg doesn't matter because he is good at defence and not too much offence so the scoring doesn't matter. and the reason he averaged 1.8 was because he was a bench player a lot of times and even if he was a starter, i would see him averaging 10 points at the most

Yeah, Oakley would do just as good as Kevin Willis does in San Antonio if he gets enough playing time.

Anyway Tamura, I haven't used those players editors the site has around, so I don't know if you can use those to delete players but you need to deal with the database itself in order to delete any player. There's a bunch of programs that support database files.

Sorry if my english means wrong in the last post. I think Oakley will retire because his age. 18 years on NBA it's amazing. But i think if he don't re-sign with Wizards he will retire.

Lakers sign Oakley!!!

They could make him play back-up centre for Shaq since Oak wouldn't demand too much GT and he's a great defensive pressence...I like the Idea at least...

from what I understood the Pacers were not expected to retain Ferry and there was talk that he would retire. He was a 'throw in' in the trade. Maybe he would have continuted to play if he was with the spurs... but I guess he still might.

I'm getting fed up with this.

THIS IS GOING TO STOP NOW!

No more attacking jason kidd. NO MORE! If you don't like his posts, ignore them. Continue with a civilised, on-topic discussion. These constant references and shots at him are not promoting a positive atmosphere, and they are disturbing the discussion.

Those signatures are in direct violation of the rules, as they are insulting a fellow forum member. Please remove them, or I'll do so myself.

I repeat, just ignore jason kidd's posts and carry on with the discussion. If he breaks any rules, then he will be the one in trouble and I'll deal with it.

Now...

jason kidd, I've asked you time and time again to make a positive contribution to the forum. That means making relevant, on-topic posts. It means accepting other people's opinions.

Everyone involved, please just stop this whole affair. It's proving to be a distraction from discussions, and I'm not going to tolerate that any more.

Kinda makes me laugh but i'm sorry.

The spurs did a pretty good job remodling their team so chances r they are better than last year.

Brian Shaw needs to retire. He's kinda old.

Yeah I dont get that.

I'm pretty sure Shaw isnt going to get too much playing time in LA with Fish coming off of the bench but he might get to play a little point and sg.

I favour that...it has been suggested before...much easier for the users on the board...and not too hard to implement. (Y) (Y) (Y)
