Not to mention Kobe won 1 MVP award. Lebron may statistically fill up the stat sheet more then Kobe, but Mr. Bryant has the killer instinct that Lebron has lacked the past 3 seasons. I don't know what else to say, statistically Lebron is superior, there is no argument, but I still think Kobe is the better player.

You may compare them when both have retired.

Oh well, atleast this isn't Kobe Vs MJ thread. Given the choice, I think that while LBJ is the most gifted basketballer on the planet, Kobe has a better temperament to go with some mad skill, so as much as it kills me to say this, probably Kobe.

There's only seven of them:
Jason Collins (2002-current)
Manute Bol (1986-1995)
Joel Przybilla (2001-current)
Paul Mokeski (1980-1991)
DeSagana Diop (2002-current)
Francisco Elson (2004-current)
Jim McIlvaine (1995-2001)

Spaky wrote:Bryant because of his workethic and basketball iq. Lebron is way more talented, but that's not enough. Kobe has developed Gasol, Bynum even Shannon Brown in his time with the Lakers. At the end of the day, if your leader is a hard worker, works extremly hard to improve his game even at the age of 32, poses killer instinct every single night, he is going to inspire his teammates and make them better. It's a really, really big factor. It's the same with Tim Dankan in his Spurs days and now I'm seeing some of it in Derrick Rose too. That's why I would give my MVP vote to him. Lebron, on the other hand is dancing, joking all the time and even crying in locker rooms. Not to mention all the crap he said and did in the summer. He don't have a killer instinct and it hurts his chances of winning a title. And badly. He doesn't have a heart of a champion. Of course, he will win one or two titles in the future, but only because of his out of the world talent. Compere this, 5 titles. 7 NBA finals to 0 titles and 1 Finalls apperance. Enough to be said. And he won't win it this year too, even with his superfriends. Hard work beats talent.
