this is what we mean when we say you are a spammer, stupid, pointless, annoying messages!!! no wonder you have so many messages, you don't even explain why he good for sixers or anything, like really, you are not contributing to the conversation, so don't, jeez....

with the starting line-up of probaly

PG-Eric Snow
SG-Allen Iverson
SF-Glenn Robinson
PF-Marc Jackson
C- Derrick Coleman

i think philla might be able to make it to the finals again this year, but i guess with nets adding mourning, unless he can't play this year from his kidney, the nets will still make it to the finals to be swept by the lakers, spurs, or kings(with brad miller now)

nah i disagree i think putting Marc Jackson in C will help them more since he plays C in the west he could be the top center in the east..and put Coleman back in PF...

seems like i am the only sixer fan who has posted in this topic right now...Coleman is probably coming off the bench for the sixers cause Kenny Thomas is their best rebounder!
C-Jackson
PF-Thomas
SF-Robinson
SG-Iverson
PG-Snow
but if Randy Ayers doesnt like the way Jackson plays then Coleman may start...

J-Kidd, I don't think Vins said anything about you, at least not here.

I know some are tired of this J-Kidd but after all, he's a member and has the same rights we have.

Regarding the topic, I don't think Coleman was going anywhere else, yet is good & bad that he stayed there, if they want to use Coleman (old & slow) as a Center, something which is a disadvantage for them. I know he can answer offensively but if he plays his position will be better. A combination of Coleman with Jackson would be good like Vins said but I don't know if Jackson might play the rythm of Iverson game.

I don't think you want a 6-7 to be your PF. Thomas will have to come from the bench if the Sixers want to win anything.

Well he still has to play PF cause he is the only PF :? i read from somewhere that Robinson is gonna play PF :? but Thomas is short but he can really rebound and score (two 20-20 games last season)so he is their best option...unless they dont re-sign Hill

DC is a good player, Im not sayin he is great but damn now with Marc Jackson he can return to PF where he should be instead of center and I'm sure he will play better.
1st/2nd/3rd
C- Jackson/Dalembert/McCaskill
PF- Thomas/Coleman/Clancy
SF- Big Dog/Williams/Korver
SG- Iverson/Green/Buckner
PG- Snow/McKie/Salmons

Sixers WILL be a top 3 team in the East.

Personally, I'd start Coleman over Jackson.

C-Coleman
PF-Thomas
SF-Robinson
SG-Iverson
PG-Snow

I don't know about making the NBA Finals, but Eastern Finals is certainly a possibility.

So would i, he is more experienced and i kinda like how he develops in the, besides i dont know if he (Jackson) is prepared for being a Starter in Philly.

i think jackson's gonna start at c with coleman at pf, and kt will get lots of minutes off the bench. philly has wanted to keep coleman fresh for the playoffs, and i think they'll cut his minutes down quite a bit. hopefully dalembert can come back healthy and continue to improve like he did last pre season, that will give us a decent big man off the bench to spell both coleman and jackson, i'm not too sure about mccaskill yet, but we need big men to get to the finals and compete with the west, so coleman resigning is a good thing, but hopefully it'll benefit us more come playoff time if he is healthy.

in my opinion it'd be gross guarding/being guarded by coleman. he is really blubbery and sweaty.

i digress, personally, i prefer starting marc jackson over kenny thomas. kenny's a bit undersized, and coleman was never meant to be a centre. what philly needs is size to box out and annoy and grab some offensive boards, i think glenn robinson and iverson can score most anything else. and kenny would be nice off the bench, splitting a load of minutes backing up coleman and jackson. and of course if maculloch comes back i'd start him if he could be as good/better as he was, thus:

philly starters:
C todd maculloch
PF derick coleman
SF glenn robinson
SG allen iverson
PG eric snow

philly bench:
C marc jackson
PF kenny thomas
SF aaron mckie
SG john salmons/greg buckner
PG greg buckner/john salmons

if theres no maculloch thats ok, start jackson and make kenny play backup pf/c resting coleman and jackson at different intervals.
