We will, but you must first please balance yours first.
Btw, given your roster balance, I don't think you would immediately win a championship.

if there was no salary cap, your team would work. if it somehow worked with the current cap, your owner would pay like a bilion dollars in luxury tax

That roster will only give you money issues and a lot of these guys need the ball to be effective

I'd go for:
Amare

J-Rich
Rondo

Ellis
(bench not in any real order)
Free of any salary cap!

With a better starting point guard it might scrape in. You can't say that team is any worse than the current Blazers or Bucks.
- Superb centre combo (Lopez, Hibbert, McGee). I could actually see times when the coach would play Hibbert at centre & Lopez at power forward.
- Luis Scola is a machine & he is backed up by a mini machine in Brandon Bass. Very, very solid.
- Eric Gordon will get you 20ppg.
- Ilyasova, Lowry & Miller are solid backups.
- I'd sub out Delonte West & maybe bring in Curry or Collison.

Starting 5: Dwight - Dirk - Battier - Landry Fields - Rondo
Bench: Manu, Serge Ibaka, Amir Johnson, Louis Williams, DeJuan Blair, Amundson, B-Scal
Team that is deep, balanced, not in cap hell, has a future, plays D and isn't too injury prone.

exactly why i picked these guys. they don't get much fanfare but watching enough nba, you know they are solid, solid players. i just didn't wanna have all these all-stars on one team... it's like c'mon man anybody would love to have a bunch of good players on a team. so i understand why people who don't know a whole lot about these players or how the nba works in general wouldn't think this is a good team.
reason why i am a fan of Delonte is when he was on the cavs, in the playoffs, he shut down rip hamilton in the first round in a sweep, shut down joe johnson in the second round in a sweep, but then couldn't shut turkoglu down in the next round due to a 6 or 7" advantage. he SHUT THESE big time scorers down. i don't think joe or rip scored more than 20 pts in any of those 8 games. impressive.
Wed Dec 29, 2010 8:04 am
C Joakim Noah (All-Star)
PF Kevin Love (All-Star)
SF Kevin Durant (All-Star)
SG Xavier Henry
PG Chris Paul (All-Star)
-------------
6 Ben Gordon
7 Shane Battier
8 Paul Millsap
9 Eric Bledsoe
10 Anderson Verajao
11 Austin Daye
12 Brad Miller
13 Brian Scalabrine
It probably doesn't work well financially, but it has pieces. Youth with Durant, X, Bledsoe and Daye. Vets with CP3, Battier, Miller and Scal. Scoring from the bench with Millsap and BG. I'm just assuming that Noah and Love are All-Stars this year. I really don't think chemistry would be horrible either; a lot of guys with specialized roles throughout the roster.

Don't get me wrong, I've liked Delonte since college & he does get respect for Lebron's Mum, but for me I like him more as a combo guard off the bench.
If I had to pick a realistic team, it'd probably be:
STARTERSC- Dwight Howard [Andrew Bogut if it has to be no All-Star team - I figure he gets snubbed again this year]
F- Luis Scola
F- Shane Battier
G- Landry Fields
G- Deron Williams [Stephen Curry if it has to be no All-Stars - he's not currently at that level but might be in a couple of years]
BENCHC- Serge Ibaka
F- Brandon Bass
F- Jared Dudley
G- Manu Ginobili
G- Luke Ridnour
F- Louis Amundsen
G- Gary Neal
IRF/C- Sean Marks
No easy wins against my team
Wed Jan 19, 2011 5:27 am
STARTERS:
C: Tyson Chandler
PF: Lamarcus Aldrige
SF: LeBron James
SG: Joe Johnson
PG: Darren Collison
BENCH:
C: Anderson Varejao
PF: Rashad Williams
SF: Shane Battier
SG: Kyle Korver
PG: Mike Bibby
PF: Brain Scalibrine
PG: Sebastian Telfair
IMO MOST REALISTIC TEAM LOL j/k (not really tho)
I mean you have HIM as in LeBron, surrounded by shooters JJ, Bibby, Kyle, Rashad, Shane. You have rebounders in Andy and Chandler. You have other ball handlers who can take the scoring load, Aldrige, JJ, even Rashad. You have someone who can take over ball handling responsibility in Collison but can also do his own thing. You have perimeter defense in Shane Battier and LeBron so yeah every facet is covered without the use of superstars thru the whole roster. I mean really it says with BALANCED OUT ROSTERS i mean damn, Blake Griffin on the bench?SMH.

eh Rondo would need more shooters to be effective on the floor, just a couple of deep shooters in Dirk and Manu, you can play off Rondo and not have to worry much about getting back to cover the other players, but yeah at least you don't have Kobe coming off the bench or something lol. Kudos

Lol, but yeat, but i have a new team now, how about this one and i'll try to make as few allstars as possible.

Phoenix-Lopez, Andray Blatche, Richard Jefferson, Gary neal and Kyle Lowry-Bench
Reserve-Kyle Korver, Luke Ridnour, Darko Millicic
My big three would be, Howard, Love and Ellis.
Wed Feb 16, 2011 11:15 pm
