I'm not a phoenix fan but I just love Steve Nash and Vince Carter. It was once my dream to see both of these guys on the same team. But I hate to admit it but, Vince Carter is not the Vince Carter that I dreamt of seeing in person. Hes gone injury prone and isn't the explosive finisher and his "half-man-half-amazing" days are far behind him. I know they needed a solid big man like Gortat and a solid defender like Pietrus, I know that Hedo didn't play that well with the Suns so I really don't care if he's gone cause he settled for too much jumpers. I'm gonna miss how Richardson drained those threes but I also love VC. Oh yeah...I forgot about Earl Clark...well....nevermind. So i'm just wondering...is phoenix a better team?

for me suns need a solid scorer like j-rich...but they traded j-rich....but there some improvements in there team...but i cannot say that they became better...

The suns i believe became a 45 win team this year, and probably getting the 6th, 7nth or 8th spot in the playoffs, if they make it to the playoffs. They need a low post scorer as soon as possible, very bad. I to like the combination of Nash and Carter, and like you said Carter's not the same.

Carter's not really that injury prone. He had a couple of years where he missed a bunch of games but since then, the most amount of games he's missed in a single season is nine back in 2004. His best days are certainly behind him though and in terms of the highlight plays he became known for he's not quite as prolific, but he's far from useless and playing with Nash might give his career a shot in the arm.
As for the Suns, I don't think the trade has made them significantly better or worse. I think they'll hang around the .500 mark with a shot at the eighth seed, which is about where I'd say they would've been anyway.

I agree that they still need some improvements to go deeper in the playoffs and get a shot at the trophy. I liked Richardson myself for he was their primary scorer and very entertaining player but Carter could be a good replacement for he also contains the characteristics of J-Rich I stated earlier.

.
They do need a low post scorer bad but if they couldn't get one ASAP, they could create of Hakim Warrick who has some athleticism and length to his advantage as for their other big men, i really think they should improve ASAP.

Yes I agree with you too. Richardson and Carter are almost the same which makes them the same team which results them to not being worse or better. But if they could adjust quickly, we might get positive results.

I think they just turned around 360 degrees.

That reminds me of a quote pulled from
here:
10/7 Kenyon Martin (NJ) on his improved conditioning and confidence:
"Trust me, it's 360 from where it was." [Martin will get along great
with new teammate Jason Kidd, who as a rookie with Dallas told the press
that they were going to turn the team around 360 degrees - a sadly
accurate prediction.]

Gregg Popovich (SA) on his comment in a huddle about the next player to
miss a free throw owed him a car: "[Tim Duncan] obviously was not having
a great night at the free throw line and I said that. And just to stick
it to me - to let me know he's going to go miss another one he said,
'So what color do you want?'"

I think that trade made both Phoenix and Orlando better , good job from the teams

Phoenix got the upper hand of that deal.... they got an excellent 3pt shooter and defender(Pietrus) a great Offensive rebounder(Gortat)
and an expiring contract of a great player (Carter), who would definitely return next season with a 4 million contract and still a quality player.
In exchange of two useless players on their system Clark and Turkoglu, and 1 quality player Jason Richardson(expiring contract)
I think the only loss for Phoenix is just Jason Richardson, who is their number one scorer.
Oh I forgot Phoenix receive 3 million dollars plus a 1st round pick
