I'm not sure about Vince starting.. I guess it'll be decided in practice, but I think Kidd will start before Carter.

Isn't it gonna change every game. I've never seen them go by the same lineup every single game...

I think Weis is 7'3", not 7'9". :)

I think the most common lineup will be:

C-Duncan
F-O'Neal
F-Carter
G-Iverson
G-Kidd

But gloveguy is right, they'll likely change it a little game to game.

they can't be possiblily start the same lineup...the roster just has to much talent..even though Iverson maybe starting but he might ending up getting about the same time as every player on the bench u get wut i mean?..

In past international tournaments they've left the starting lineup virtually unchanged. I'm pretty sure that in almost every tournament, there's been at least one player who has started every game.

OMG!!!!! jason duncan you seem to hate every one of the great players in the league besides kidd and duncan. ok, ya t-mac and kobe sometimes just throw up like 30, 40 shots, and make about 10, 15, not 5,6. If you really knew basketball, and watched the nba and followed it you'd see that all those players that you say suck and can't play(kobe, t-mac, gilbert arenas, shawn marion, ben wallace, kevin garnett, latrell speewell, etc.)
ALL of these players are from your hate list. And at the end you say they ALL can't play. Well pretty much all of them have been all-stars.you...you....you....AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
:x :x

now back to topic. :)

i feel the starting line-up should be

c-Tim Duncan
pf-Jermaine O'Neal
sf-Tracy McGrady
sg-Allen Iverson
Point-Mike Bibby!

now lets compare someone who is like t-mac, that you don't hate

T-mac stats:
PPG: 32.1
APG: 5.5
RPG: 6.5

Paul Pierce
PPG: 25.9
ApG: 4.4
Rpg: 7.3

PPG: T-mac by 6.2
ApG: T-mac by 1.1
Rpg: Paul by 0.8

i think t-mac is better than paul pierce and you don't have paul pierce on your list of players you hate because they suck. so if T-mac is better than someone who isn't on your list of people who can't play shouldn't that make pierce be on your list too? huh?
well i am just not going to argue with you anymore, i am just going to
try to injore your stupid posts

buddy,

paul pierce's shooting percentage is .416, he takes 20 shots a game and makes around 8.

mcgrady's shooting perceantage is .457 he takes 24 (not 40) shots a game and makes 11.

DO THE MATH.

I'd probably start T-Mac over Carter, but I think Brown will end up starting Carter over T-Mac.

if i was the coach of the usa team, I would start vince over T-mac, not because i think that vince is better, but iverson and t-mac playing together at the same time seems insane! it will be a competition between who jacks up more shots !!

A.I wont come off the bench...Brown wont let it and besides he owns it to A.I after leaving Philly!!! NB! Brown i hope you and your team will get swept (or kicked out) by the sixers from the playoffs!!!!

there's no way that Detroit is not making the playoffs next year...and seriously Sixers does not have much chance of defeating the Pistons in the playoffs...

now back on topic

i hope the lineup goes like this

C-Duncan...cuz he's the most dominate player besides Shaq..
PF-Jermain O'neal...cuz he is the best pf avalable
SF-Vince Carter...i would start VC at the SF spot so that T-Mac can guard smaller SGs..usually
SG-T-Mac...i'd start T-Mac over Iverson cuz T-Mac has size and he plays well with Carter...
PG-Kidd..cuz of his dishing abilities...

The FIBA Americas Olympic Qualifying Tournament will be amazing (Y)

C- Duncan
F- O'Neal
F- T-Mac
G- AI
G- Kidd

No matter the starting line-up, USA Dream Team is the better, but you have opportunity to see:

Nash, Fox, MacCulloch - Canada
Ginobili - Argentina
Arroyo - Puerto Rico
Najera - Mexico
Nene, Leandrinho - Brazil
And much more.

1st- USA DREAM TEAM
Argentina, Canada, Brazil, Puerto Rico and Mexico will fight for 2nd and 3rd place.
