Lorenzen Wright Found Dead

His family reported to Police in Collierville, Tenn on Thursday 22nd of July and they say that they haven’t seen Lorenzen Wright since Sunday, 18th of July.

He hasn't been heard from for more than a week now. Sure he's not a star player and all but I pray that he's alright...

A week? I have a feeling this story will not end well. Hope I'm wrong.

MEMPHIS, TN – Memphis police are investigating the body of a man who was found in Southeast Memphis and a source tells Eyewitness News that is Lorenzen Wright.

According to sources, the body was found in the wooded area of Hacks Cross and Winchester Road. It appears, sources say he had been shot and it may be self-inflected.

Germantown police say a 911 call has been turned over to Memphis police in connection to this investigation.

Has he been dead since he went missing though? If it wasn't self inflicted this may have more to the story.

Rest in peace though, a real shame to hear something like this happen to anyone, let alone the NBA family.

Latest update is saying it does not appear to be suicide and that he was shot several times. Awful stuff, condolences to his family.

This is just sad. Though I don't know him too well (I'm pretty sure I've read his name somewhere), may he RIP.

It's very sad. The first thing i thought about were his kids. My thoughts are with them, his family and his friends.
