The Untold LeBron James Story: He Could Have Been a Victim of Abortion
http://lifenews.com/nat6517.html His mother was in her mid-teens when she found out she was pregnant. High school graduation was still a while away. She was not a person of means.
About a decade before her pregnancy, the U.S. Supreme Court had ruled that the mere fact of being a teenager could be considered a health reason justifying abortion. She could have easily taken that route. In fact, chances are a Planned Parenthood counselor would have recommended it.
But she chose life, and her son became known as the Chosen One.

WTF? This is why abortion is such a complicated situation, you don't know if you're killing a future great person, or if you're killing a future Hitler. Good choice by LeBron's mother though.

And he could have died in a plane crash on the way to his first AAU game.
It's an "untold" story because it's not a story. Anyone could have been a victim of abortion so it's meaningless to single out any person as one.

Besides, it's far from being the greatest story never told. If only I'd been 6'8", more athletic and immensely talented, nobody would be talking about LeBron, Kobe or any of these other so called "greats".
In fact, look out for my story as part of ESPN's 30 for 30, "Hoop Delusions". I wrote, directed, produced and starred in it myself. With all humility, I have to say it's a fucking masterpiece.

When you survive an abortion attempt then become a professional athlete you can talk to me.

Paul Pierce survived a late-term abortion and won a Finals MVP!

Yes, you need to work out more.
You know, being in a chair due to a birth defect, i easily could have been aborted on doctor suggestion.
Since i could have been aborted, I'm going to call ESPN and ask for an hour long to broadcast "Oz's decision" on what I have for lunch today after lecture.
Anyone and Everyone COULD HAVE BEEN aborted. its not that big a deal.

I think "He could have been..." will become a line best describing LBJ's career from here on out. Here we have the best athletic specimen in the League who possesses nearly all of the prerequisites to challenge MJ as the GOAT - the only thing missing are of course rings -, and he decides to throw everything away to play with his friends in South Beach. Sure, when all is said and done, he'll still be known as one of the best players ever, but - and here it is - he could have been so much more.

Lebron's not as greedy as Kobe in terms of building up the legacy. He's just a kid who enjoys all the attentions and media's focus, and he also just wants to have fun on and off the court with good companions by his side. That's the way I see him now.

A spoiled kid (thank Dan Gilbert for that) and I wouldn't necessarily call his associates as good companions. From what I've read, his good old leach of a friend, Maverick Carter is mostly responsible for the mess that was "The Decision".
