Another Heat bandwagoner. Whatever happened to staying loyal to your team?
Sat Jul 10, 2010 3:05 pm
Even with Lebron on the Heat, they don't interest me. But I reckon they will do good this season, but they are not my favorites to win the Finals, my vote still goes to Boston or the Lakers or Mavs
Sat Jul 10, 2010 3:18 pm
z02 has always been a Heat fan since he joined the NLSC. I think I have a post somewhere listing the retarded non-bandwagoning Heat fans.
Sat Jul 10, 2010 4:10 pm
I find it amusing how the Lakers fans are attacking the bandwagoning culture.
Not saying any of you are bandwagoners, but the Lakers clearly have the most bandwagoners of any team.
Sat Jul 10, 2010 4:13 pm
I don't know if I would say that. There's just gobs of delusional Kobe fans. They were delusional in 2000, they were delusional in 2004, they were delusional in 2007, and they continue to be delusional.

I am a Lebron fan, obviously. I am a Shaq fan as well, and was ALWAYS a Laker fan. wherever Lebron or Shaq were to be, I would be a fan. when Shaq moved from one team to another i followed that team and they were my darkhorse. Go Heat, Go Suns, Go Cavs... i dont consider this bandwagoning. I dig the Lakers, always have. i dug Jordan as well back i the day. theres nothing wrong with liking more than one player/one team. if one of your teams or favorite players gets a shot at the title you have every right to be happy. my hardest series to watch was that first Bulls championship. I was torn. Jordan vs my Lakers. every year after that i was hoping for L.A... but i also relished in MJ winning titles too.
I was really hoping for a L.A. vs Cleveland finals this year. i would have been happy with either outcome. looks like next year i will be rooting for Lakers and Miami to meet in the Finals.... and be torn all over again. like who you like. if your favorite player ends up on your not so favorite team, do you start hating that player? its retarded. dont pass judgment on a fan's loyalty.

Half the people who voted voted for the last option.
shadowgrin, didn't notice that you're sporting that avatar instead of benji until now.

It will be tough to beat the Lakers, Celtics, Magic still as they've been together for some time and have all been to the Finals. They have definitely added themselves in the equation but I won't give them the title just now.
Also voted for the last option though.

I voted last option too
Serious prediction: 59-23, 1st seed in East, eliminated ECF by Orlando Magic in 6.
Sat Jul 10, 2010 10:08 pm
Well I never really like "Goliath" teams except for my team. So prediction for the Heat maybe a 60+ wins, 1st seed in the East. Eliminated by the Cavs in the first round (hopefully) or by the real Big 3 (Boston).
I also voted for the last option
Sat Jul 10, 2010 10:15 pm
1st in East with 82-0 record and sweeps all the way to the title. Guaran damn teed.
Being a long time Heat fan alone(most of times in this forum), I was often asked why I would want Lebron alongside Wade. Now it all happened, let's just wait and see how they'll play together. These 2 + Bosh were the best players in the Olympics. I believe the case will be the same in the league as well. Lebron will be the playmaker, while Wade will keep attacking. Bosh of course will dominate in and out with his great skillset. So much to look forward to, as a Heat fan. I don't care about bandwagoners or new born haters. I'm just going to enjoy being the Heat fan this coming season.
I also look forward to see the Lakers dominating the West once again on the way to the Finals, only to meet the Trio. That will be the most intesifying Finals in the history of the NBA. Good gosh, for now, Pat Riley better find solid players to fill the roster. I am just excited to the max.
Sat Jul 10, 2010 10:21 pm
Well I'm excited too. Hoping to see your team face this teams Boston,Cleveland and Lakers. I think against the Boston or Lakers it will be a nice game. For the Cavs I just want to see what the reaction of the fans for Lebron

Fixed. 59 wins probably won't get you a 1st seed, Orlando would beat that.

Impossible. They haven't signed the greatness that is Joel Anthony yet. If Anthony is on-board then 82-0 is a possibility.

Who on the cavs is going to beat the Heat? Without Lebron and all the FAs who can be a cornerstone for a team, they're back in the lottery.
My prediction: Miami starts slow (first 15/20 games hovering around .500) and then goes on a ridiculous run as they learn to play together.

What are they going to do? sign a bunch of streetballers to the cavs for cheap then gilbert himself is going to suit up?
Shadow improving my post. That is how a team works right there

I see your kobe avvy has taught you to do work

WTH?
Riley Will Return To Coach HeatLeague sources have told the New York Daily News that Pat Riley will at some point replace Erik Spoelstra as head coach of the Heat.
"Pat won't come back for just Wade and Bosh, because that's not a sure thing in Pat's mind," said one Eastern Conference coach before Miami officially landed LeBron James.
"But with LeBron and those two, that's a sure thing for Pat. He will come back if they get LeBron".

I thought he said that Spoelstra will remain as a headcoach.
Off Topic, If it is allowed I would like to see what Badger actually posted
