Why hasn't anyone made a thread like this? I guess all the Free Agency and "The Decision" has been keeping people busy from watching the Summer League, but I'm sure many people have no interest in the Summer League anyways. I know I'm a little late in making this thread, but I was waiting for somebody to make one. Anyways, thread is here for those who ARE watching the Summer League.

IMO almost non of the poll choices will impress alot,NBA's rookie ladder says it all.
At least for me,Turner was surprisingly bad so far, time will tell though.

Yeah, I just went with the first 5 picks of this year's draft.

John Wall hasn't played, but yeah, Evan Turner hasn't impressed so far, and Derrick Favors is also a bit raw and he's struggled. I didn't expect these guys to go 20 and 10, but I hope they start improving.

Lance Stephenson has been impressive

Evan Turner has been pretty crap I think, I think the first game he went 3-14 shooting? but got 8 rebounds or something.
Then again I'm basing this on what I've read, not what I've seen.

John Wall hasn't played, because Wizards haven't played any games + he injured his groin in practice. Like Turner mentioned by himself, he's been terrible, but Holiday on the other hand has been great, excluding turnovers. Have watched couple of games, thought of making this thread before.

Nope, he seemed to be invisible on the court, just like Mark Madsen, only not as great.

They never give pass to Erden... they didn't care him...
Sat Jul 10, 2010 11:05 pm
Because he sucks?
Sat Jul 10, 2010 11:45 pm
No no... he is from my country... you understand...
Sun Jul 11, 2010 12:50 am
So he sucks then?

No...

If people "don't give him a pass", that means he sucks, plain and simple.

Lance Stephenson is a beast. A lot of teams will regret passing that guy up. Also lol @ Sharron Collins' fat ass scoring 30+ points.

Paul George and Magnum Rolle has been great too
Sun Jul 11, 2010 2:02 pm
Yeah Magnum Rolle is awesome. A guy with a name like that has to be good.
Sun Jul 11, 2010 2:12 pm
Roddy Beaubois and Jermaine Taylor have been good too.

Lance Stephenson is a steal

Devin Ebanks and Derrick Caracter looks promising too.

Austin Daye has been Impressive. He'll be a huge factor to Detroit's progress - A) if he's got game it means we can safely ship Tayshaun and his lucrative contract and B) well who doesn't want a 6-11 guy who can put the ball on the floor, shoot it and score on the post playing serious minutes. Although, i shouldn't get ahead of myself, after all its only summer league and Daye hasn't really proven anything in the NBA yet. Nonetheless, Daye and the Pistons youngsters looking generally impressive.

Wall had a good debut. First shot was a total brick, but the rest of the way it went better. 24 points and 8 dimes, not bad.
