With the Heat about to beat the Nets, and the Hawks having secured 3rd (right to get killed by Orlando instead of Cleveland in round 2), the no-longer fearsome deer will take on the Dirty Birds. With Bogut, I would consider predicting some sort of Milwaukee upset. Unfortunately, without their best player, I expect the Bucks to flounder. They have enough heart (Benji's favorite stat) and talent to win this one, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
ATL in 6.

Failed to properly vote for Hawks in 5, so Hawks in 6
Thu Apr 15, 2010 12:55 pm
Taking the Hawks in five, though I too would've given strong consideration for picking an upset had Bogut not gone down.
Thu Apr 15, 2010 3:06 pm
Hawks in 5. Josh Smith will be eating deer meat every game.
Thu Apr 15, 2010 3:14 pm
Yeah, Hawks in five. Smith and Horford should have a field day this series.
Over/Under .433 FG % for Brandon Jennings? I'll take that under.

Poll is missing the mandatory "Who cares? Bogut isn't playing"

gotta go with the flow here, hawks gonna win this in 5. i almost picked a sweep but think the bucks can win one at home

Added for your convenience. Doing so wiped the previous results, so if anyone messed up on the last poll or would like to change their pick, you've got the opportunity.

I chose Bucks in 7 but thats right, Bogut isn't playing
Fri Apr 16, 2010 2:59 am
I hope the Bucks can pull off an upset even without Bogut. I don't like Atlanta plays.
Fri Apr 16, 2010 4:39 am
Jennings for ROY!!! But without Bogut, Hawks in 5, 6 tops.

Jennings is such an awful shooter. I think early season hype has died a little, and has settled to be a third scoring option since then, behind Salmons and Bogut. At least Stackhouse turned out to be a great pick up. He I thought was part of big reason how the Bucks got here. With that said, the Bucks still don't got enough weapons. I play safe and take Hawks in 6.

Hawks started to blow Milwaukee out of the building, but the Bucks are coming back in a big way. Jennings is keeping Milwaukee in it having his first good game of the calendar year. He has 32 right now, and will likely beat Rose's rookie playoff debut record.
Go Bucks!

So close yet so far.

Was pissed when Brickhouse got the ball instead of Jennings on that last possession. Wanted him to break the record.
Sun Apr 18, 2010 12:25 pm
Skiles fucked things up by leaving Jennings off for 4 minutes in the fourth. He came in and missed 2 wide open threes, both times the Bucks were like 7 behind.

I guess I missed a good part of the game. I just fell asleep during this game. It seemed to me, the Hawks were taking to the rim at will, taking full advantage of missing inside presence by the Bucks. Jennings sure did played fine untill the point I saw, but I have a feeling that he's not really a type that makes others better and he's also no Iverson. I wonder how he'll turn out to be, in the future.

I tuned in to the game early in the fourth where Jennings was on the bench and the Bucks had a 10 point deficit. Never bothered to watch because I knew Skiles would screw it up by leaving Jennings on the bench for that long.
Sun Apr 18, 2010 10:31 pm
A team loses a game as Skiles leaves one of their leading scorers, a guard, on the bench. It seems oddly familiar.

Hawks go up 2-0, Josh Smith just one assist shy of a triple double.
Wed Apr 21, 2010 12:26 pm
So far, my vote for Hawks in 4 is halfway complete.
Sun Apr 25, 2010 2:49 pm
Damn they came in a little too confident this game. Hope they dont make the same mistake in game 4. Let's bring one to Atlanta. We need something here besides beautiful women.

That was Atlanta on the road in the play-offs. They actually lost by less than they usually do.
