Detroit's Ben Gordon scored the 10 millionth point in NBA history Saturday night. Gordon made a jumper with 3:51 left in the second quarter of the Pistons' game against the Philadelphia 76ers for the milestone.
The first NBA points in history were scored by New York's Ossie Schectman on Nov. 1, 1946, at Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens. The NBA didn't keep great stats on each millionth point but got serious when it hit 4 million and beyond:
