He's definitely getting my vote due to this campaign.

I always vote for him but this campaign just made me want to do so more. Gotta love his sense of humour. Those footage of him screwing up while he is trying to persuade viewers to vote for him is awesome.

That was hilarious the first time I saw it, and guess what, it still is. Always cracks me up.

Chris Bosh's was better.
Although, this was pretty funny.

I'd have to agree, but I do admire Nash's willingness to make fun of himself. Points for originality.

Whenever I bother to vote, I pick him simply because he's my favorite NBA player, but I would love to see him start because of this. Some of the other videos on his Youtube page are better though. It sucks they swapped Tucker for Hart in that pointless deal, since he was one of Nash's best friends on the team and was in some of his videos.

Didn't you know Lamrock, anytime Steve makes a friend then Kerr trades them away. It's the rule. Anyways, I voted for Nash due to him being one of my 2 favourite guards in the West (Roy being the other one).

I can't believe Kerr hasn't been fired yet. Memphis did the right thing keeping Chris Wallace (who has turned out to be a great GM), but its been almost three years, and the Suns have gone nowhere but down.

He definitely deserves to be an All Star and he'll be there. That's a good vid, my respect for Steve just went up by 2.3

Well, Canada is the world's longest running joke.

That short vid by Steve is more entertaining than what crazy Starbury did.

Jason Kidd?
Wed Jan 06, 2010 12:24 pm
Beat me to it Modifly. I think he forgot the guy who mentored Nash to begin with.
Wed Jan 06, 2010 12:32 pm
Exactly. It is arguable that Nash's statistics this season has been a lot better than Kidd's so far despite their age being close to each other, but that doesn't mean that Kidd hasn't had a stella career.

thank you Andrew

Cousy always seems to get left out of that conversation. With a nickname like The Houdini of the Hardwood, not to mention his more substantial accomplishments, it's a crying shame.

/agree. Its a shame people think only the generation they've been alive for matters.
Dont get me wrong: i love nash, i love stockton, i liked jason kidd at one point (and i thought he was only half white). They're all possible all time great lists. But if we're talking white PGs? Cousy wins.
Thu Jan 07, 2010 6:07 am
Never saw Cousy play. Kidd doesn't count because he got black genes helping him. That is kind of cheating.

That definitely has a lot to do with it but I also think he's unfortunately overshadowed by other greats from around that time. When Bob Cousy entered the league, George Mikan was the league's marquee player and the one most people probably associate with the 50s. In the 60s, Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points and set numerous other records and as far as the Celtics are concerned, Bill Russell won 11 championships, Havlicek famously stole the ball. His significance in his own team perhaps isn't truly recognised and thus he gets left out of the conversation when historical comparisons are being made.
