Bogut and Andersen will be around the entire season. Really if you could combine them they'd be a historic player.

Mills will probably be kicked down to the D-League simply because Portland has too many players already.

Some NLSCer said Jawai would be a superstar, but no matter how adequate he is, he's still behind Jefferson and Love. Both of whom are already all-star quality. (Not to mention Ryan Hollins, who I'm convinced will be showing up as a third center on every title team in the next few years.)

SMH, Aussies. We need threads about Blair and Lawson. (And Daye.) This kind of thing makes me think there will be Pinoy watches soon.

Pinoy players are still far off from the NBA. Our closest prospects were just rumors of summer camp invites that never came to fruition. So, don't worry about that.

I hope the rockets give Anderson some decent minutes, I think he could prove to be a steal for them.

Andersen's numbers so far are quite respectable for someone getting 14 mpg, hopefully he'll earn some more PT as the season progresses. I wonder if Bogut is still shaking off some rust and getting his conditioning back after the injury last season. I'd hate to see that derail what could be at least a solid career, he wasn't doing too badly before last season was lost.

Saw Andersen's first game, not bad and judging by his stats from recent games he could be pretty good if given enough minutes.
I think his playing time is limited for now because he hasn't yet adjusted to the 'physical' play of the NBA but with a year or two under his belt the Rockets would have another steal like Brooks, Scola, Landry, or Hayes.
I may have to worship Daryl Morey.

Disappointing to see. I don't think we can blame that one on Skiles either.

Bogut:
16 points (8/14), 13 boards, 2 assists, 3 blocks

Finally got to watch him play and he was impressive. His face-up game just outside the high post is really impressive and something he needs to do a lot more.

Bogut pretty much went to town on Brad Miller. He wasn't as effective against Noah, given Joakim's athleticism. But he was constantly outfoxing Miller, and made things very difficult for the Bulls around the rim.

If he hadn't been as limited by foul trouble, the Bucks would have won easily. 2 foul-outs in 3 games is a worry.

I think his 6th was smart, he knew exactly who he was fouling. Then Noah did his weird helicopter shot thing and missed both FT's.

I always chuckle at the slow-mo replays that show the spin of the ball. Then I die on the inside.

I know what you mean. He's giving Bill Cartwright a run for his money with his form.

I was wondering when you were going to mention that. But don't you think it's about time to update Bogut's averages on your first post? He's now averaging 12 & 9, & I expect that to grow to 15-16 & 11 if he stays healthy.

That was game 1, he's now played 4. I'll wait until game 10. It'll only take one shit game to change his numbers drastically again.

Bogut is a man possessed...

22 points (8/14), 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block. Also shot 6/6 from the FT line which is bizarre on so many levels.

I have a feeling that his numbers (or at least his scoring) might nosedive again once Redd returns.

Agreed. I was thinking same thing but didn't want to jinx it while things were going well.

Hopefully he'll still get enough touches when Redd returns but I'm not expecting too many 20+ point games at that point.

Maybe we will have old our Jinxdrew back in our forum.

Other than a strong performance from Bogut, I am surprised at the fact that Bucks started this season 3-2. As long as, Bogut is healthy and Jennings keeps on improving game by game, I have a feeling that they have a good chance of making playoffs even if Redd is hampered by injuries on and off.

Nathan Jawai: 16 points (7/11) 6 rebounds in 22 minutes. Not sure where that one came from.

Here's hoping he'll see minute like that against the Suns in the game on ESPN...if it's a blowout, I suppose the chances of that will be fairly good.
