Did anybody see barea or how ever you spell his name, did anybody see him about a week or two ago on sunday? I forgot who dallas was playing but he was playing very well in that game, scoring over 20 points. I think the game was either on abc or espn, i wish i could remember the exact game. But do you think he'll be the future starting pg or sg for dallas? Does he have potential to be at least, a decent player? That's the first time i've ever seen him play, i like his abilities.

god, Jose Juanita
My best friend went to Northeastern while he was playing there, kid never shuts up about him.
Watched him play a bit last night, he's good, but he has an attitude problem if I remember correctly.

he is often snubbed when going for high fives.

Sorry to tell this but he is non factor... anybody of those bilion players who are in nba can score 20 points if they will have playing time.So scoring 20 or so is nothing special

Hes okay, he was pretty good in the beginning of the season, until NBA teams figured him out

If anything Barea's NBA career pales in comparison to his career on the international stage for Puerto Rico.

He's played well enough in the couple of Mavericks games I've seen this year. It's probably fair to say he's shaping up to be a solid backup for them at point guard but let's not get ahead of ourselves calling him a future star or even a bonafide starter just yet.

He is decent. He brings some energy off the bench... reminds me a little of B.Jackson for Sac-town all those years back when He would come in for Bibby and change the tempo, hit some 3's and get out on the break. Solid Back-Up, but not a starter.

The only problem is his size. Guarding bigger players in his position. but a solid back up for aging Jason Kidd.

Mavs fan opinion: he's a nice offensive spark, but no way do you leave him out there for too long. His defence is pretty poor even when he's guarding midgets his height.

Why did Shannon get a new username?

He's alright, but sometimes he just tries to make too many plays on his own.

He's the most fearless and the best driver on the Mavericks, hes a poor man's Allen Iverson

He's the second coming of Mike Penberthy.

That would at least guarantee him a highlight mix on YouTube.
