The Blazers and Bucks have reportedly discussed a Richard Jefferson and Luke Ridnour for Travis Outlaw, Sergio Rodriguez and Raef LaFrentz's expiring contract.

Portland is aggressively trying to use the trade asset of LaFrentz's expiring contract.

Sources say the Blazers and Nets have discussed a deal that would exchange Vince Carter for Raef LaFrentz and his expiring contract along with Travis Outlaw and Sergio Rodriguez.

Channing Frye could also be included if the Nets include Sean Williams or Stromile Swift.

It should be great for the Blazers to trade for Vince Carter. He is still one of the best scorers in the game and a pretty good rebounder and passer as well. Sounds like a perfect deal for Portland. For NJ - they would got a nice SF with great potencial - Travis Outlaw and solid backup to Harris - Rodriguez. Of course it will be a more financial then roster improving move for the Nets.

They will need Vince in playoff time. They can put him or Roy to SF. This could be a very strong duo Roy-Carter and with Aldridge and Oden in front line they can really do some damage in western conference. They need some playoff expierence. I think Carter is the right guy.

Not bad. I like the Bucks deal a little more for the Blazers since they can upgrade at two positions while still taking moving LaFrentz as well as someone who's voiced displeasure with their playing time in Rodriguez.
