quick question.

how come jumping into a defender leads to gaining a foul?
that's like the same as diving in football, only it's not penalised,
but rewarded.

Officiating today arguably favours the offensive players more than ever before. It used to be if the defender went straight up and the offensive player jumped into them, there'd be a no call but it seems these days there's pressure to call something, so the shooting foul is called.
