LINKI hope this time around, Rudy Gay won't disappoint, and Nate Robinson won't take 20 tries to make a dunk, and Dwight won't use anything gimmicky. I wanted to see Jamario Moon in it again

but oh well.
Haven't watched Fernandez, Alexander, or Westbrook play or dunk enough to comment on who of those three I would choose.
Fri Dec 26, 2008 8:17 am
i want to see Gerald Green in it over stupid Nate Robinson...
Fri Dec 26, 2008 8:35 am
Joe Alexander definitely will be getting my vote....I luv Rudy but there is no choice that can be made other than Alexander....
Fri Dec 26, 2008 9:23 am
Westbrook wouldn't be a bad choice but with Nate in there you've already got the token small contestant so I think I'll go with Alexander as well. Better yet, they could scrap another event like the Shooting Stars and let all six of them in the contest.

I gotta go with Westbrook, ive watched hes dunk clip hes good, though on nba.com i voted for Rudy

Jao seems to have a boner for tall white players that has hops.
Fri Dec 26, 2008 10:21 am
Who doesn't? Alexander is clearly the superior dunker out of those three.
Fri Dec 26, 2008 11:24 am
Did I just saw him banging his head against the rim easily? Look how easy that was for him. Damn. He has my vote.
Fri Dec 26, 2008 11:24 am
Now would be a good time to note that I <3 Josh McRoberts

You wont surprise me if you say that you <3 Chris Andersen as well, although that would makes you weirder.

nah not a fan of Anderson
just remember all, I am a huge Duke fan
Fri Dec 26, 2008 3:31 pm
My main man Nate gonna win it this year. I'm so excited.
Fri Dec 26, 2008 3:48 pm
He's certainly got a shot if the new restrictions on attempts don't end up rule him out in the first round.
Fri Dec 26, 2008 4:51 pm
alexander is nice dunker, but i'm not a fan of a big men at dunk contest, and howard shouldn't bee there too! so my vote is for Russell!
i wished it would be B-Easy among them!
Fri Dec 26, 2008 5:30 pm
He is the defending champion though and brought out some creative stuff last year. He's a long way from Cadillac Anderson's entry in the dunk contest some twenty years ago.
Fri Dec 26, 2008 9:12 pm
I've got to go with Fernandez. He's got pretty sick hops.

I love those Sergio to Rudy alleys.
Fri Dec 26, 2008 9:50 pm
ummm... is there a reason why Vince Carter isn't considered? He would have been my choice
Sat Dec 27, 2008 12:43 am
Because he's a bitch. Like Kobe or LeBron.
Sat Dec 27, 2008 1:29 am
Joe Alexander all the way.
Sat Dec 27, 2008 2:33 am
Another Joe Alexander vote from me
Sat Dec 27, 2008 8:31 am
It's funny how almost everybody say that Alexander gets their vote but Fernandez is leading the poll
My vote goes for Rudy.. Wouldn't he be the first Spanish guy in the dunk contest history >
Sat Dec 27, 2008 9:05 am
Don't sleep on Joe Alexander... Just ask Stanley Robinson from UConn last year in the Big East tournament about the product that Bob Huggins built.
Sat Dec 27, 2008 9:42 am
I voted for Joe Alexander, I love Rudy F. but I think his video didnt offer anything special...
And why the hell is Nate Robinson there? He has done all the dunks that he could possibly do. He has nothing more to offer, the NBA just got dumber..

White boy dunk battle: Who would win, Joe Alexander or David Lee?
