No new coach in Beantown...

Paul Silas will be probably take a new head coaching job in the coming months, but it won't be in Boston.

O'Brien Agrees to Contract Extension With Celtics.

Not a bad move really - O'Brien has a winning record in his tenure as the Celts' head coach, even managing to break even at 24-24 after taking over from Rick Pitino back in 2000/2001. His 13-13 record in the playoffs is deceptive too, IMHO. The Celtics made it back into the playoff picture fairly abruptly - and might have fared better this year, had they not been the victim of injuries and reliance on the long bomb.

Obviously, O'Brien is going to have to address this situation - the Celtics need to improve their post game and curb those three point attempts. True, they did lead the league in three pointers made in the regular season, but when you attempt the most, you're usually going to make the most as well.

Good move. But the thing is they should get rid of employee No.8.
