Is Phil Jackson retiring after this loss? I watch the game and there's a part were he was interviewed and said he's thinking of retirement because of health concerns. Would this loss be a factor in his decision?

I guess it's a possibility, though with Phil you never know what is a spur-of-the-moment suggestion, a mind game, or an indication of his future plans.
If he does decide to retire, Jim Cleamons might get the head coaching position that he's expected to receive, without changing teams.

No, that interview was before the game and he said before he had the surgery he thought he might retire because his health and energy was not there.
But in the postgame press conference he said he was feeling great and as of right now would come back another year....
I can only see Phil Jackson retiring right now in the immediate future if Shaq hangs them up.

Talk is cheap though. For all the excuses, the Lakers were beaten, fair and square by the Spurs. Consider this: it would make more sense for the league to want Los Angeles in the finals, since it's a larger market team, which means more $$$ for the NBA. The Lakers just weren't as good this year has they have been from 2000-2002.
As for your signature, no one will try to stop the Lakers...with all due respect, I don't think anyone's going to just lay down for the Lakers next year, just because they're going to try and make up for this year's early exit and say they will win.
