well... everyone is talking about hiw KG has the heart and desire to win more then anyone els.... i was thinking about that and this is what i came up with, (maybe some1 thought of this b4)
ig KG does sight up bak with wolfs, that would be i secrifice but not the main one, coz with wolfs he gets less pay,
the biggest sacrifice he would make if he was to play with wolf would be to take a pay cut, so that they could sigh a good FA, coz of his contract all they can offer a FA is 5 mill, wich is nothing compare to what other teams can offer.... so if he does take a pay cut then wofs can get a ligit C or PG maybe..

Since KG's contract was signed before the new Collective Bargaining Agreement, I don't think he has a choice about taking a pay cut when it comes to re-signing him, but how much less he'll agree to will determine whether the Timberwolves will have any cap space to work with.
Also, the Wolves should get rid of Joe Smith, unless he can start playing as he did in his first couple of seasons. Minnesota gave up five draft picks (and have since been awarded one of those picks back) as well as a significant amount of cash to get him - so far, he hasn't been worth the dollars or the trouble.
They might also want to think about moving Szczerbiak, though this season he has been slowed by injuries. Still, the Wolves need a player who is willing to put up a lot of shots. The best teams, then and now, have always had a player who would put up 25-30 shots if need be. The Lakers have Kobe, the Sixers have Iverson. Paul Pierce and Antoine Walker have no trouble finding shots, nor did a former Celtic, Larry Bird. Michael Jordan nearly always found a way to get his points. The Wolves need someone like that.

Brandon done
Bill Duffy represents Timberwolves free-agent center Rasho Nesterovic, injured Wolves point guard Terrell Brandon and soon, apparently, former Gophers forward Rick Rickert.
Duffy, a former Gophers player, said Brandon has decided to retire and collect the $21 million he has remaining on his two-year contract.
"Brandon's knee hasn't really responded to treatment," Duffy said. "He'll probably end up retiring here fairly soon."
