Herrmann back with Pistons

Postby Alejandrov011 on Sat Aug 02, 2008 8:09 am

The Pistons have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with backup Walter Herrmann.

The 6-foot-9 small forward was an unrestricted free agent and salary information was not disclosed.

The Pistons acquired Herrmann last season from the Charlotte Bobcats as part of the trade that shipped out center Nazr Mohammed.

Herrmann, a 29-year-old Argentine, appeared in only 28 games for the Pistons, but the team likes his size, toughness and three-point ability. He averaged 7.1 minutes and 3.0 points per game for Detroit..

In my opinion Herrmann is a great player, he showed it when he played for the bobcats when they started him... He just needs some playing time

I couldn't figure out why there was a whole thread dedicated to this signing...

Then I read the following things:

You know...at first I got all in reply mode and came up with this:

Alejandrov011 wrote:Herrmann for me is a great player

Well that's just grand. Not because you think he's a great player, means he is.

I'm very proud of him so i decided to make this thread

You're only proud of him for being Argentine, nothing more.

You don't like, don't comment =)

I don't like, I still comment. Message board belong not to yo momma. I free to comment. So you no talk no more.

Please show some respect to the Spanish League's 2003 MVP!!!

I had hope that you would notice the irony in my comment :) Maybe a tad too subtle?

A dunk contest is all that it takes to create a true man-crush.

I want 20 seconds of my life back.

Watching fat kids attempting to dunk on an 8-foot basket is more entertaining than that "dunk".

Good point.

I also heard Philly got Elton Brand, so I'm not sure if Andre Miller will get any playing time either.
