Horry has said he’d like to remain with the Spurs. If the organization decides to move on, however, he said he’d like to return to Los Angeles or to Houston, where he began his career.

I would like to see him back in LA.

Even at 37, I could see any of those teams being interested in bringing him in (or bringing him back in San Antonio's case). It's not like he'll be a particularly costly investment or someone they'll pin all their hopes upon, wherever he goes I expect he'll ride the pine until they need an extra shooter out there or someone gets into foul trouble.

He'll go for the minimum.

Well, yes, that's what I meant when I said he wouldn't be a costly investment.

Time to go and ride his horse into the sunset.

This makes me feel old, when I remember that young bouncy and versatile guy that almost got traded to the Pistons, wearing the # 25 for the Rockets. One can't really notice how players change in time unless you dust some old videotapes and rewatch some of those 1994 epic games against the Knicks...

Yes, you definitely realise you're getting older when you take a look at a player like Robert Horry and think just how long he's been in the league. I feel that way when I'm doing the roster updates; I used to create missing players who were born in the 70s, now I'm creating players who were born in 1989.
