Well I have three that rank up there.... My first Knicks game where they beat the nets in the preseason 2 years ago... Me nd my friends snuck up to like the 3rd row nd Nate Robinson nodded his head at us...
And probably the most memorable moment in my life, the night Patrick Ewing came through Drive thru at my McDonalds... Honestly guys I almost creamed my pants... I got his autograph which I carry with me everywhere... I got to shake his hand even though his hands were like 10 times the size of mine.. And we shared small talk. He complained his fries were cold so I got him new ones... I believe this would be a huge deal to any NBA fan, especially a Knicks fan... He's a nice guy.
And a couple of years ago I think Delonte West was just going to the NBA I played basketball with him... we played some pick-up games he took it easy and still dominated.
What are your guys stories?

I went to Vince Carter camp and got to see Vince Carter when he was still beloved by the Toronto media. He nailed some insane half court shots, but when we egged him on to dunk the ball he pussied out.

Well, probably the best experience I've had is when I head onto the court at the Air Canada Center during a shoot around probably an hour or two before the Raptors game would start. My cousin was friends with one of the security guards so go figure. I think most of the Raps were in the locker room since the only ones shooting around were Mo Pete and Joey Graham. So I got their autographs and got to shoot with them for a few minutes. It was pretty cool. It would've been cooler though if CB4 was there.

When I talked to Shawn Bradley's foster sister, and asked her to prove that she is in fact, his foster sister. She sent me a signed photo and card of Shawn Bradley. Perhaps the greatest experience was this: I hosted probably the best Penny Hardaway site at the time, and there were videos and loads of pictures. She told me that he was pretty angry with the video clip that I hosted where it shows Penny dunking over Shawn Bradley

How often do you masturbate to that image?
Anyhow, to answer your question... I'd say chattin' with Dwight Howard or a couple of good Magic games.

My live NBA experiences are extremely limited, essentially revolving around the NBA Live 08 Community Event last year. EA hosted a pre-Draft party where Live 08 was on display and both Gilbert Arenas and Kevin Durant were in attendance. Unfortunately I didn't get to speak to either of them but we watched Arenas play 08 and score about 60 points with himself, on about 40 field goal attempts. I also stepped into the elevator in the hotel and found myself standing there with Greg Oden, which was pretty cool.
We were in the fourth row in the theatre at the Draft itself, right in front of the ESPN crew. The guys who were heckling Stephen A. Smith were right behind us, that was a pretty funny exchange to watch.

Pistons vs Bulls when I was a kid was my favorite. Got to see Jordan and Pippen plus the Pistons won and Joe D scored his 10,000 point of his career.

I saw Magic Johnson at Burger King. Along with a few other irrelevant NBAers at various establishments. (I lived around Michigan State...so MoPete, Randolph, Richardson, etc.) Oh, and KEVIN "THE REAL DEAL" WILLIS.
And had sex with Dennis Rodman. (Who hasn't though?)

I wanted to, but you gave him an STD, so I couldn't.

By far the Houston game vs the Celtics this year. That was the game were KG stretched out his jersey and did the repeated chest pounds that showed up on TV all the time.
The only other thing that comes close and is NBA related was playing in the middle of main street in Springfield, MA for the NBA Hoop It Up 3v3 tournament.

Almost scored on Michael Cooper during a breakaway fast break with a running layup/hookshot at Cooper camp. I got "ooh's" and "aah's" just for getting it over his arms after he caught up to me. I was 13.

it would be Celtics vs Clippers in December of 05. I was like 10 rows back from the court and I kicked myself for not bringing anything to autograph because Ricky Davis, Paul Pierce and Raef LaFrentz were signing autographs for people in my section before the game.
game was crazy. Celtics down 10 in the 4th and Pierce fouls out. Ricky Davis and Gary Payton lead them back to tie and they win in Double OT.

Probably going to that Boston-Houston game on Jan 2. Think Jao might have been at that game too.
1st ever NBA game, was pretty intense, we were about 15-20 rows up behind one of the baskets.

oh and at that game, I sat by all the loud-mouthed Boston fans. man they were annoying.

Being near Paul Pierce when he visited our uni. I was so close that I could stab him if I wanted to.
I know, bad joke, but I was really so close.

ooooOo last night i went to the 24 hr fitness in Huntington Beach to go work out. when i walked around in the weight room i saw this big black dude with cornrows sitting with his back turned to me on a bench press. i joked with myself in my head like "oh what if that dude was an NBA player or something" and when i saw his face I did a double take because it was Jamal Sampson.
I took a minute to reassure myself that his name is Jamal Sampson and not to make a fool of my self. i was a little star struck because the only other nba player i kinda got to talk to was Michael Cage last year during the Finals (and Eric Chenowith does not count) so i went up to him and asked if he was Jamal sampson. he seemed surprised i knew his name and i was like so what are you up to now? trying to get back? [since he hasn't been in the league in a while]. i asked if he was doing summer league and he was like naw i'm a free agent. and so i bullshitted him back saying oh yeah teams are always looking for big men. and i mentioned even in Europe now guys are making it over there.
and he kept emphasizing that he was a free agent even though no one wants to sign him lol
oh yeah he was benching without a spotter, but he was doing 140 + a 10-15 lb bar. and i left about the same time he did at 2 AM and he drove off in his Escalade.

I don't think you've ever met that guy in person... maybe online though.

I was hoping somebody would bring up a story about the Laker Girls ( or any other cheerleader team for that matter)

This past weekend I went to NYC/NJ to visit some friends and we were in this noodle place in Chinatown (the main one, near Times Square), and Zhang Songtao, a member of the Chinese National Team and member of this summer's Knicks Vegas League team walked in and sat down two tables behind us.

The night of my birthday, me and quite a lot of people were out... and somehow ended up watching a replay of Lakers-Jazz. The X could probably explain in a bit more detail but I was basically a one-man cheering squad, jumping up and down especially when the Lakers closed out the series. It was great.
