I didn't know he was a threat beyond the arc...

You must have missed his career then. He's averaged 4.5 three point attempts per 36 min for his career and did over 5 per in his full season. Hit 37% and 38.5% the last two years.

I think most of us picked him to latch on with another team before too long. PT might be a bit scarce in Dallas though.

Seems like this community consists of a lot of Gerald Green fans.

I can't say I'm one of them though.

Fans? I wouldn't say that, though I don't speak for everybody. It was more a case of someone brought up his release by the Rockets last season and speculation was made about his future prospects.

Mmm, I don't think I've seen that thread, if that's what you're talking about.

I'm fairly certain it was before your time here, the thread was made around the time he was traded to Houston and subsequently released.

This community isn't filled with them, but I certainly am!

I love swingmen who can jump out of the gym and I'm glad he's latched on to a team; at least it's a start. He's still 22 so it's not like he's hit his peak or anything... Then again, there are question marks about his attitude.

But he can still wear a green uniform on next year's slam dunk contest.

I wonder what's the real issue with this kid.
He seems to be talented as hell, so what? Teams don't really give up on young talent they way they seem to have with him. I mean, JR Smith still plays in this league, doesn't he?

Is he such a slow learner? A head-case? what then?

I always got the impression that he has an large ego, but I don't know. That's the main reason why I don't care for him.

Hopefully, things work out for him and the Mavs.. He is kinda like JR Smith before who just couldnt find his niche in a team until he showed his potential last season at Denver..

I'm inclined to think it's an attitude problem.

Mr. Green may not be worth the money, but at least he'll be better than that maniac Mr. Blue.

And how come I gotta be Mr. Pink?

I don't think he'll be joining the dunk contest again.

After watching him in the slam dunk contest, he just comes across as a cocky kid with slight mental retardation.

The Mavs totally needed this kid. They have no swingmen at all. Blockbuster signing.

Reservoir Dogs ftw!
