NBA Hires Someone to take Care of Referee Business

I believe the NBA is trying to go against Donaghy's allegations of the 2002 WCF with this by having someone else do the training and hiring of the refs in the league.

That's irrelevant. The league is trying to distance themselves from the refs to show that they are not fixing games.

Interesting move. Hopefully it will have some good results, though the conspiracy theories will always be there.
