Another Article.
This surprised me, I was not expecting him to be fired. New Orleans just played a great series even with the injuries to Baron and Jamal.

just coz they didnt get past the 1st rnd!!
man they had injuries
Silas is a great coach and he'll be gettin a few other job offers soon
prolly the Cavs :D

I think there were rumours that Silas would not return next season earlier this year. I guess this was just a convenient excuse for the Hornets to part ways with him.

I think it's quite funny. The team obviously needed a new coach though...one man can only take them so far.

This might be premature and crazy, but I'd sacrafice Jimmy O'Brien and that crazy three-ball offense for Silas, who played for and won NBA Titles with the Celtics. Not going to happen, O'Brien is Irish you know. :roll:

If the Celtics don't make it past the second round, it might be time to consider a coach who won't be so leniant on all the three point attempts. After his fairly successful stint with the Hornets, he'll probably be in consideration for a few coaching jobs (Raptors, Clippers, the new Charlotte team if he wants to sit out a year to name just a few).
