A question about free agent deadline

I was just thinking to myself, is there in the NBA a deadline for free agents to sign?

Not really.....but there is a cut-off date (fast approaching) for playoff eligibility!

Players must be waived for before March 1st to be eligible for the Playoffs if they then sign with another team. Once the Playoffs begin, teams that qualified for the postseason can't sign any new players or make any trades.
