Stoudemire hit a 3 with 7.9 left to force OT, Ducan missed a baseline shot at the buzzer.

Starbury!!!
ive tipped the suns to win this series and i look right so far :D

them fouls on Penny were bullshit anyway, parker was off balanced and then just decided to fall wen he got a slight brush from penny.
then penny gets called or a foul on TD when all he was doing is playing aggressive D.

oh well suns won.
Spurs fans.........wheres your mvp???? missed 2 free throws which woulda sealed it......... and get dominated by a kid outta high school in his first playoff game.

ohh my,,, what a game!!, First Amare Knocks down a 3 to send the game into overtime and then steph hits the 3 at the buzzer! I really feel bad for Tim Duncan, this might be 1 of the reasons why he shouldnt be the mvp, (missing 2 clutch free throws!) lol

Up in Minny, that's the real MVP.

we'll see who wins the lakers-twolves series.
then we can say who is mvp.
and if magic can beat pitosn, t-macs stock will rise for mvp also.

but its out of 3 candidates IMO

Garnett,Kobe and T-mac

maybe TD but after seeing today............probably not.

Wut a shame for a team that sweeped the Lakers !

TP, as always, was very disappointing against Starbury...

Technically speaking, it won't matter what happens in the playoffs, since the regular season MVP is based on regular season performance. But I know where you're coming from.

iverson has a good change to get mvp too. mvp is based on regular season statistics and how player plays for his team.

Speaking of Iverson, I only noticed the other day that he played in all 82 regular season games for the first time in his career, while leading the league in minutes/minutes per game. Very impressive, especially for a 6'0" guard who constantly plays with nagging injuries that would cause others to miss games. The old Larry Bird philosophy - "I won't sit on the bench with any broken fingernail".

sorry but ive personally never seen a 8th seed team get an mvp.

thats y i said if they can beat the pistons, then his stock is gonna rise.

but i cant see anyone getting the award over KG or Kobe atm.
Duncan has lost my respect for it after he got his ass whooped by Amare and missed them 2 FT's.

Jeeze, he lost your respect? The spurs wouldn't have even got that extra possesion if he didnt get that offensive rebound. And alot of great, great players have missed clutch free throws. Malone, Pippen, and now Duncan.

good 4 u, T-Mac is the league MVP for this season whether u like it or not, but i know that he won't get MVP because his team didn't do as good as the other contenders (kobe, kg)

thats y i said if they can beat the pistons, then his stock is gonna rise

no it isn't, because the NBA has already chosen who the MVP will be
