I'll buy into the hype and pick Garnett. The current Celtics squad may be untested as a unit in the postseason but so far so good this season, even with KG ailing. They're also undefeated against the West thus far.

I'd say Garnett based for similar reasons to Andrew though its worthy to note that only 5 of them were on the road. That said they beat Utah, LA and Sacramento among those. I think when it gets close to the end theyll lose a few more games here and there but the team definitely looks a solid bunch spear-headed by their 3 NBA stars.

Dirk will be mine. Hope it will be a Boston, Dallas finals match. Paul there is still young, he still have a lot of years ahead of him, Arenas also unless he gets on a team that is a championship contender that is.

i still cant see the poll results if i am not voting

End of any racist discussion.

I like Paul and Arenas, but honeslty Garnett has the best chances to win.
Looking at the team's record the celtics are the best, but remember Dallas last season, they were defeated in first round by golden state

2006 - 2007
Dallas: 67 - 15
Golden: 42 - 40

That's odd, as far as I was aware we fixed that problem. It's been working for me.

As quickly as it seems like your prediction was going to become more likely...

Don't get me wrong. Even without Kidd, Dallas still has a ton of talent and still could win the NBA championship.

God damn it.

Well, I made this prediction before I knew of Kidd going to Dallas, so I'm simply set back to where I was some 4 hours ago.

My vote goes to Nash.
I would vote Garnett, but all of the Celtics 9 losses come from the East.
So the playoffs may be a rough patch for them..

They've also won 25 games against Eastern opponents so it's not as though they're struggling in their own conference.

another thing boston may struggle with is play off experience, how many times would pierce, garnett and ray made it past the first round, let alone the finals? but still, im hoping their talent will get them though

All three have been to Conference Finals?

Not that it matters, they could have no playoff experience, as long as they were still together on a team superior to the other seven in their conference. Which, based on their record, they apparently are.

Garnett has made it past the first round once, while Pierce and Allen have been on teams that advanced twice. I suppose that's something that can't be ignored completely but consider the Mavericks who had a few second round and conference finals appearances as well as an NBA Finals appearance to their credit but still lost to the Warriors last year. It's not as though KG, Pierce and Allen were solely responsible for their previous squads not going deep into the postseason year after year, after all.

KG is inexperienced during the playoffs.
We all know Sam Cassell and Latrell Sprewell was the main reason why the Wolves reached the Conference Finals.
