I would say Belinelli would be a good player, has a scorer's mentality and is a good fit for Don Nelson's run-and-gun squad. Probably a 12th-man All-Star at most in his career.

For Javaris Crittenton, I haven't seen him play so I can't tell.

They could turn out good, or they might not. It really depends on how well they perform. Who knows? They both could end up an All-Star, or they might be out of the league in a few years. They obviously have potential, but is it enough? It's hard to weigh my decision at this point because they both could end up really good or really bad. Right now, it's very clear to say that they can end up good, but they might not.

Belinelli has the skills of a pure scorer. Only time will tell if he really is.

I haven't seen Belinelli play except for 3-4 summerleague games, so I don't really have much of an opinion on him yet. I do have one on Crittenton, and I wanted him on draft day. I think he'll be a very good player.

From what I seen of Marco, he reminded me of Rip Hamilton but with a better ability to create his own shot and create for others. He's not the defender that Rip is from what I saw though. I'd say a mix of Manu Ginobili/Rip Hamilton, but shooting from outside rather than midrange alot more than these guys do. He should slash more, his dribbling skills were impressive for a guy his size - I don't know if the speed is there though. Looks like an impressive shooter who needs to learn how to play defence. He gambled alot in those summerleague games, and most of the time it didn't pay off.

I've seen Javaris play a bunch of times, and he could end up the best point gaurd in the draft. One of the most athletic point gaurds I've seen in a while, both in speed/jumpings, etc and strength/body control. He's 6'5 in shoes - I know head height is pretty overrated, but as a point gaurd I think it gives quite an advantage. He's a bit like Belinelli in terms of defence, he doesn't play very smart. However I think the defensive ability is there and could see him becoming a dominant defensive force with his physical attributes and athletic ability. Second best player in the draft behind Mike Conley at getting his teammates involved. His jumpshot is shaky (like Conley), and that worries me alot, because I don't remember his jumpshot or shot selection getting much better at all over the course of the college season/summerleague, if at all. I think the only thing stopping Javaris from being a top point gaurd in this league is the mental aspect of the game. He makes mental mistakes - overdribbling, bad shot selection, etc.

I'd take a chance on Javaris. I think Belinelli is more of a "sure thing" but I have no doubts that if both reach there potential, Javaris will be the better player.

Don't take Javaris in your fantasy league (if it even exists, because Eddy Curry going undrafted while you have Belinelly and Crittenton is... just not right). I'm talking about in general, I think Javaris will turn out to be the better player.
