1. Lebron: I don't care if its in the east, for anyone to carry a team that he has to the nba finals is truly amazing

2. Kobe: Slow start to last season, but his 4 + games of 50 (with 2 for 60) was simply amazing.

3. Wade: You can't discount what he did in 2006, when he takes over a game he becomes the most unstoppable player in the league.

4. Tmac: I make more fun of him then anyone else, but in reality he should of been last seasons regular seasons mvp.

5. Amare: His jumpshot made him impossible to defend from 15 feet.

6. Tim Duncan: When it's all said and done, he will be considered a top 5 player of all time.

7. Jason Kidd: Dude averaged a triple double in the playoffs.

8. Kevin Garnett: Finally out of that quicksand named Minnesota, he has still been producing the last 3 years. It's just we haven't noticed.

9. Carmelo Anthony: Has the most help out of him, wade and lebron but has produced the least. This is a make or break season for him (and Iverson)

10. Iverson: Still produces at insanely high level.

1. Kobe - best player in the league, when he feels like it.
2. LeBron - to be young and achieve and do what he had, wow.
3. KG - it's not his fault he played for a team that has lousy management. I bet the Spurs would have won more championships (or possibly the same) if you replace Duncan with KG.
4. Duncan - best basketball IQ in the league. The only one on par is Nash.
5. Nash - if only had defense in his game, I would place him 1st in my list. No kidding.
6. Dirk - if he wasn't such a choker I would have placed him above KG and Duncan because of the massive headache he creates in matching against him.
7. Wade - clutch control in the 4th.
8. AI - His body shold have broken down by now with the way he plays, but AI is one tough cookie that keeps on going and going and going...
9. Yao - avoid injury and he'll be dominant in the C position.
10. T-Mac - poor man's Kobe, and that's an understatement.
HE'S USING HYPNOSIS!

If he's a top 5 all-time player, how then is he not even a top 5 current player, considering he's just as good as he ever was?

jordan was not a top 5 player in his wizards days, but he's still arguably the best of all time.

When Jordan was playing for the Wizards he wasn't "just as good as he ever was".
