Just saw this story on realgm.com

I used to think this guy could bhe good, even after his joke of a rookie campaign, but now I wonder if he has a future in the league at all.

I heard about it this morning. funny how Danny Ainge & Co decided to trade rights to either BRANDON ROY and/or RANDY FOYE for this dude hoping he would mesh with Delonte West who plays the same position and had a breakout year the year before.

West is more of a 2 guard....but anyway, Telfair was absolutely horrible this season. He can't shoot and he didn't do anything with his blazing quickness. Rajon Rondo the rook took charge when he was on the floor. Telfair just doesnt look like NBA material at this point.

lol, ABA. Anyone can play in the ABA now it's not a league for somebody the caliber of Telfair. Europe is a much more realistic option.

I don't think Telfair will leave the NBA. Somebody is going to be stupid enough (or bald) to sign him...
Somebody kick Otis Smith's nuts please.

to quote someone else

Honestly,if Telfair had Chris Paul's game he could walk around with a RPG and he'd still be a Celtic next year. His game isn't up to snuff and this gun thing is a convient excuse to cut him loose.

Maybe Zeke will pair Telfair up with his cousin Starbury.

Somebody will pick him up in NBA, but he's not going to be a big minutes guy, maybe 10th-11th man on the bench

Well , the spurs still need a bench PG better than Uldridh or Vaugh

Or the Lakers could sign him.

He will not leave.

Edit: I didn't know it , Marbury is Telfair cousin

meh, I don't think Telfair would fit in the triangle in LA.

also, Vaughn AND Udrih are better than Telfair, especially in Pop's structured system.

Why exactly would a team want Telfair on their bench as a 10th-11th man? Those are supposed to be glue guys who are good in the locker room and professional and all. You think a team wants to put Telfair in a lockeroom with rookies and have him help teach them the ropes? That just doesn't make sense. Telfair's best hope is to try and make the And 1 tour or something.

that would be the only reason anyone would pick him up.. to sell tickets & jerseys.

there's no way he'd go to Europe. he has too much pride.

he is rated 75 overall with some great speed and quckness. i think his speed is 95 and quickness is 97....

anyway, i wouldnt mind if he came back to the Blazers, only as long as he wasnt paid very much and we gave them back Raef LaFrentz in return(i hate that guy! )

Well, Knicks will trade for him and give up David Lee and Renaldo Balkman to the Celtics...

That's how they have operated in the past... At least as long as Zeke's been in town.
