A great game for Ricky (28 PTS, 9/16 shooting, 9 REB, 12 AST)...except for when he became greedy for a triple-double in the dying seconds of the game, despite the fact that Cleveland blew out Utah. Desperate for the last rebound, Ricky shot the ball at his own basket (ie. where Utah is supposed to score) in hopes of grabbing his own rebound and capturing a triple-double. Deshawn Stevenson saw this and fouled him hard

I think it's also pretty moronic of Stevenson to not allow him that feat.

sometimes when i see this guy I think he has no respect for the game... Unhopefully, cause he's high talented and pfew, I remember when he was in Charlotte, he was a role player but he made so huge dunks ...

NBA rulebook states that a player may not shoot at their own basket to gain a rebound, but if a player does so, the opposition automatically gains posession. So...it wouldn't really be any sort of a rebound

lol when i read it i luaghed my head off, i wish i watched sportscentre!! lol
anyway i remember seeing that in one of our games, the guy on the opposite team was like a rebound away, but the thing is we were leading by a heap he had 10pnts 10asts 9rebs, he then threw it up and it actually went in lol, we just sort of stood there and thought and wot a bloody idiot, i managed to convince the ref to count it for us, which i they should've anyway.
the guy who did is actually a real cokcy up himself poof, so it was great to see him do something so stupid lol.

its just hit me, after watching a Cavs v Knicks game i saw it ricky davis IS Latrell Sprewell , his game is just like that of a young spree with the warriors

True, true. He is so much of a Spree. Without the defence. He's got the attitude, athleticism, and the "Im gonna dunk it in yo grill whether yo 7 feet or not" type of style.
