Best player who never won a ring or an MVP?

With Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns beating the LA Clippers and advancing to the NBA Finals it got me wondering who is the best player to never win a championship or an MVP? Chris Paul would definetly be one of the candidates alongside John Stockton, Patrick Ewing, Reggie Miller, George Gervin, Chris Webber and Carmelo Anthony. There are probably more people I am forgetting, so what do you think? Sorry if this post is too low effort for this subreddit I am just interested in this question.

For me it has to be players from the 90's Miller, Stockton & Malone, definitely Ewing and Barkley.

I really wanted Chris Paul on the Knicks last summer and it shows how much of a leader he is this passed two seasons turning around his career.

Malone and Barkley did win MVP's though.

I started watching basketball in the early 00s so that's my frame of reference. For two more weeks it's clearly Chris Paul. After him you've got Lillard, Melo, T-Mac, Webber, etc.

I think think Malone and Stock like the knicks and Ewing have Jordan to blame for them all not getting a ring
