Houston Rockets put up for sale

So, the Houston Rockets has been put up on sale. Once again, Chris Paul has joined an organization that is about to change ownership. I think it is all a matter of circumstance that Chris Paul is in this situation again. But it does make it easier for the management to have a tried and true veteran in the locker room to keep things stable.

Rockets are in good shape and coming off a very respectable season, so that has to make it a bit easier than it perhaps normally would. Fourth biggest city in the country, so pretty big market, too.

Time to put in my bid for ownership... :cheeky:

In all seriousness, there are some people here who fear that a new owner could possibly relocate the team. Though I think that's very unlikely, you can never rule out the worst case scenarios. Always a possibility that comes with new ownership.

Also, the Rockets and the Toyota Center have a lease until after the 2032-2033 season according to this source. The Houston Rockets are here to stay, thankfully.

First the Magic, then the Lakers, now Houston, Dwight almost ruined every team he played then left for.

Expect something up with the Hawks this or next season.
