With Memphis beating New York last night, the first playoff match-up is set. For the fourth time in seven years, the Grizzlies will be taking on the Spurs in the post-season. Memphis of course stunned the Spurs by upsetting them in the first round in 2011, but were then swept by them in 2013 and 2016.
These two teams split the season series, and the Grizzlies are always a threat in the playoffs. However, I don't think they have the talent to hang with an elite team in San Antonio. I got Spurs in 5.

Sweepin'

I could see the Grizzlies stealing a game.
Spurs in 5

I'll also go with the Spurs in five.

Maybe Memphis can exploit Parker/Pau on defense for a game
I think spurs sweep

Rooting for the Spurs this season to the Finals. Should be easy 6 game series for the older Gasol.

Went with spurs in 5. I gave Memphis a win just out of respect for that team. They certainly capable of more, I just feel like they're exhausted right now.

Kawhi for the MVP seriously. I think he's the best player in the league right now.

Little bit late to the party but Spurs, 4-0

Coach Fizdale dropping that dataaa. Really like him right now

Game 3 is theirs to take. They need to use this emotion and momentum to steal a game. Fizdale is clearly trying to start a fire under his team and the Memphis fans. If they don't win Game 3 then that's the series over....

I would love to see Memphis win this next game, and I would like to see them get more respect from the officials. I mean, the "data' wasn't wrong from Fizdale, he has a right to complain.
Also, Memphis seems to be getting rookie treatment, as a team.. they are veterans. It's very odd.

Even though I said Spurs in 5 I'm kind of glad that it's tied 2-2.
Marc Gasol with the game winner and Kawhi hitting clutch shot after clutch shot.... for a series that everyone was prediciting that it would be short and boring, I've sure been pretty entertained so far. Hell of a series.

Dammit, missed this game. Was watching UFC instead

Kawhi's incredible, but his supporting cast is a bunch of old role players. That'll get it done during the regular season, but I think the Rockets are gonna eviscerate them.

Seeing the relationship between Conley and Gasol, and just the overall relationship between the Grizzlies players and the players with Fizdale... I love this team. When the Grizzlies won, Conley and Gasol were like two kids so excited about the win, and the post game press conference was awesome.
Leonard is a freak, he's so talented. And, I have always loved his demeanor.
I disagree with Lamrock, if the Spurs make it passed the Grizzlies, I think they can absolutely beat the Rockets.
