Has anyone else been catching the "Players Only" games on TNT? For those who haven't seen or heard of it yet, basically the concept is that all of the hosts and commentators are former NBA players; no Marv Albert, no Kevin Harlan, no Ernie Johnson, no David Aldridge, or any other broadcasters/journalists.

It's an interesting idea, and a very different kind of NBA presentation. It's basically three analysts calling the game, so as you might expect there's minimal play-by-play compared to a regular broadcast. I wouldn't say that it should replace the traditional format of sports broadcasting, but it's been a fun idea.

I personally like the idea for the odd game or two.

I heard aittke with KG, Sheed and Baron Davis which was cool but I think the greatest would be MJ, Barkley, Joel Anthony and LaVar Ball

I really like BD. I think he should replace a certain individual on the Thursday show

not a fan of it personally however not seeing shaq all the time has been great
