He's apparently doing so well the specialist he saw at the hospital refused to believe the eye ever came out, so that's good news.

They actually never showed a single replay on TV. Other than that one live shot the incident never aired, they immediately cut to wide angles once they realised what had happened.
It went past so quick that I didn't even realise what had happened until the Mulligan pointed it out.
