Howard says he will change uniform number with Hawks

The newest Hawks player will apparently no longer wear his uniform No. 12. Howard appeared on the NBA TV broadcast of the Hawks’ Las Vegas Summer League game against the Rockets on Friday. He said on the air that he will change his number from the one he has worn his entire professional career.

Howard would not reveal the new number. He said only that it will be biblical and have deep meaning.

So, there goes the D-12 nickname. Kinda funny, considering how Tobias Harris wearing #12 for the Magic seemed to bother him a couple of years ago. Good for him and all, I guess, but the real change for the better would be an improved attitude and post game.

He's probably gonna wear 69 lol.

I think he he played Captain Kirk one on one for the number and lost, and it was a game of post up moves only.

It will be a high number that's for sure, 70-99 or something like or hey it may even be 69 like the post above said.

Pretty sure 69 is banned. I'm sure many players have asked for it and Rodman definitely tried to get it in his later years
