Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry will be named NBA Most Valuable Player for a second straight season, according to league sources.
Does he even play in the league anymore? I've only watched part of the playoffs this year.

No surprise, and no argument.

Curry is just an overrated version of JJ Redick.
Tue May 10, 2016 9:14 pm
Or JJ Redick is an underrated version of Steph Curry

I think the right man got the award here, he definitely deserved it.

Hey, JJ Redick's free throw form was amazing in last-gen. Very cheap to buy and equip in MyCareer and easy to master.
Definitely underrated.

First time in history it's been unanimous too. Hats off to him.

No big surprise there either, though I thought at least one voter might go against the grain. The fanboys on Yahoo! NBA are going wild, and throwing around the word "hater" like it's going out of style it hasn't already gone out of style.
A remarkable season for Curry, nevertheless.

Hard not to give it to one of the guys from best regular season team ever. So that's back to back for Curry. What now, 3 in a row should make it interesting.
Thu May 12, 2016 12:24 am
Has anyone ever won it 3 times in a row?
I think he could not have won this unanimously if the votes were not released to the public. (Did that make any sense?)
Someone's always going to vote for their fav. player somehow but the public release probably made them think otherwise. (Am I even making any sense? English isn't my first language, sorry.)
Thu May 12, 2016 12:27 am
Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, and Larry Bird have all won it three times in a row.
Thu May 12, 2016 8:41 pm
Wining twice in a row is nothing special, even Steve Nash did it.

And darko has a ring

But Dickie Simpkins has three.

The King's thoughts on the unanimous MVP winner"I think sometimes the word 'valuable' or best player of the year, you can have different results,"
So, I don't -- do you have any debate over that, really, when it comes to that award? But when you talk about most 'valuable,' then you can have a different conversation.
to be fair- the King did sprinkle in the passive aggressive comments of "You know, that's not taking anything from anyone that's ever won the award" and "So take nothing away from him. He's definitely deserving of that award, for sure"
i think james suffers from middle child syndrome.

King said previously his servant named Irving is better than Curry. Let's see if there's any truth to it in the finals.

He has a point about the MVP award. For years, fans and writers alike have struggled to come up with a consistent definition and criteria, and it's been argued from all angles. There's a hint of sour grapes there, though.
